BENEFITS OF

PERSONAL TRAINING

AROUND THE CLOCK FITNESS Personal Trainers inspire clients to actively pursue their health and fitness goals thru education and motivation within personalized fitness programs.  This programis extremely successful because it analyzes the clients five components to fitness, where similar programs only focuson one or two of the components:

Component #1: Testing and Goal Setting- Utilizing today's most advanced technology to determine your body's current composition, our trainers provide the necessary information for creating the best routine to achieve your goals.  This testing provides information including body fat percentage, lean body mass,  fat mass, strength, flexibility, and body age. Continuous testing throughout a personal training program shows exactly how your body is changing and assists in reaching short-term goals.  Personal goals are determined by the client and personal trainer in the beginning of the program. Goal setting is a major part of the Around the Clock Fitness personal training program. By determining a long-term goal and separating it into multiple short-term goals, the clients doesn't feel overwhelmed and can focus on results one goal at a time. This method has been proven to keep clients engaged and focused, resulting in a higher success rate!

Component #2: Resistance Training and Flexibility – Resistance training is a form of exercise concentrated on putting various muscle groups under strain in order to increase strength, definition and/or size, as well as enable the body to burn more calories.  Around the Clock Fitness personal trainers prescribe and individualize resistance training programs complete with exercises that are specific to get the results you want. The personal trainer will show you how to perform the exercises properly and provide the knowledge explaining why specific exercises are used to achieve your goal.  One goal of resistance training is to produce more lean body mass. Every pound of lean body mass in your body burns approximately 50 calories per day. If your goal is to lose fat, then you would want to increase your lean body mass to help you achieve a caloric deficit.  The personal trainer will supplement your resistance training with flexibility training to help relax tight muscles, strengthen weak muscles,

and correct muscle imbalances throughout the body while analyzing current range of motion and postural distortions.

Component #3: Cardiovascular Program – Focuses on the health and function of the heart, lungs, and circulatory system. Our goal is to burn the greatest amount of calories during and after exercises. In order to keep caloric burning high, the personal trainer will alter the FITT principle (frequency, intensity, time, and type) of cardiovascular exercise.  Understanding your specific heart rate training zone and the amount of calories burned per session will help you reach your goals.

Component #4: Supplement Recommender – Focuses on creating an ideal nutritional environment inside your body so the exercises provide a greater benefit.  This is important because eating improperly could result in losing lean body mass. Losing lean body mass slows down your metabolism, causing you to burn calories less rapidly. For example: by supplying the body with a multi-vitamin, you satisfy your nutritional deficits without the caloric intake, thus allowing your body to perform at the optimal level and burn more calories.  Without proper nutrition and supplementation, you may be unable to achieve your fitness goals.

Component #5: Personal Accountability – Personal trainers prescribe an exercise program specific to your abilities, which is designed to help reach your goals in the shortest amount of time possible. The trainer will also guide you through plateaus, which is a stage where the body has become efficient at the current exercise and movement. Plateaus usually occur every 4 to 8 weeks.  During the entire program, the personal trainer will educate, motivate, and hold you accountable to ensure the specific goals are achieved.  The personal trainer's main goal is to make the program enjoyable and keep you motivated to come back for more results!
