GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
20-20-20: Combines 20 min of various cardio work, 20 min of resistance work, & 20 min of core & stretching for a total bodyworkout.30/30: Intense 30 minutes of full body sculpting, finishing with a powerful 30 minute cardio indor cycling class.5.3.0: Exercise intervals using various cardiovascular methods of exercise mixed with strength training and core conditioning.BLAST: his special class concentrates on core conditioning utilizing a mix of plyometrics, strength training , and stretching drills, to create BALANCE, LENGTHENING, STABILITY and all over TONING…it’s a blast!
BODY PUMP: Guaranteed to change the shape of your body!!! A unique, fun, and result oriented way to increase your strength and endurance. Thishigh energy class is set to motivating music and led by enthusiastic instructors utilizing barbells, you will PUMP UP your body like never before!!
BOKWA: BOKWA® is Different. It is not really a dance workout – there is no choreography and no counting steps. Participants draw letters andnumbers with their feet, while moving together to music in free form rhythm.
CARDIO KICK: An athletic type workout that combines vigorous upper body movements such as jabs, hooks and upper cuts and power punches withkicks and drills for a great all-over workout!
CORE N MORE: Core training is the foundation of all human movement. This class will improve functional strength for daily activites while using exercisesthat will tighten, tone and focus on the core while assisting in injury prevention.FRENZy: A mix of cardio resistance and core work. It’s a fun and challenging exercise class designed to get you in great shape.
DANCE FUSION: A fresh and funky cardio class that will keep you movin' and groovin' to the latest beats. This class helps improve coordinationand body awareness through fun and exciting dance movements.
LOW-N-SCULPT : This class combines two basic forms of getting in shape; low impact aerobics and all over body toning! Join the fun as yourinstructor leads you through a dynamic low impact cardio section and finishes your workout with exercises designed to tone and strengthenyour muscles! Don’t miss this low “joint” stress workout!
MUSCLE FUSION: This class uses a variety of resistance training equipment and techniques in order to tone and shape all muscle groups. This class willgive you a complete body workout.
OVERDRIVE: This fun, non-choreographed class includes a little bit of everything; step, interval training, strength training, agility andspeed training...all in one action packed hour! No fancy steps just FUN and SWEAT!!
PLYO-PFUSION: A mixture of kickboxing ballet dance moves, pilates and yoga all meshed together for a well rounded workout!PUNCH, JUMP & JAB: An intense cardio workout that incorporates kick boxing, power moves, plyometrics, and toning exercises.
STEP COMBO: Half step cardio and the other half is instructors choice of cardio (ie, basic aerobic, kick box, etc.)
STEP-N-SCULPT: This class includes a step workout and a strength component utilizing weights, tubing, Bosu, and Stability Balls. You will improve yourcardiovascular endurance and your muscular strength with this workout.
TONE & STRETCH: This class will consist of various stretching exercises combined with resistance exercises, both of which will stress proper form andpace of exercises.
TOTAL BODY: A strength training class that increases endurance while toning and conditioning your body.
YP FUSION: A fusion of yoga and Pilate's. The mix of disciplines help develop core strength, tone muscles, increase flexibility, balance and stabilityand reduces stress.
ZUMBA: This special class is a fusion of Latin and International music-dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! Zumba utilizes the principals of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning!
GROUP CYCLE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
CYCLE: Indoor cycle provides a fitness journey for all levels that takes the training principles of bicycle racing brings them indoors, and blends themwith a mind/muscle connection providing an aerobic workout that encourage you to find the champion within.
ENDURANCE CYCLE: A combo of long steady rides & short fast rides which will increase your endurance & power and challenge you physically & mentally.
YOGA CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
INTEGRATIVE YOGA: (A GREAT PLACE TO BEGIN) Concentrating on working safely with aging adults & the less active, while keepingmedical conditions under consideration. This Yoga class will help with breathing, balance, flexibility & mental fitness.
POWER YOGA: A dynamic and vigorous style which synchronizes breath and movement, endures longer holds on the poses, and cleanses and focusesthe mind. The steady breathing builds heat in the body and therefore flexibility creating a higher level of vitality and freedom.
PILATES: Developed in the 1920s by Joseph H. Pilates. Pilates Mat exercises will help you gain core strength, flatten and tighten abdominals,increase overall flexibility, streamline body shape and improve posture.
